Bush Grants First Group of Pardons and Commutations
November 26, 2008 - On Monday, President Bush granted 14 pardons and 2 commutations. Of the 14 Pardons, none were for any high profile cases. Two situations that are being watched closely are the sentences of two Border Patrol Agents, and the pardons of government employees for harsh interrogations of terrorist suspects from 9/11.
